Terms of Service
Last updated: April 1, 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using QrystalDrop, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Scope
QrystalDrop provides workspace-based secure rooms for governed file exchange. Depending on workspace trust mode, files may be handled as strictly encrypted payloads or may enter recovery-enabled review workflows controlled by the workspace.
3. Accounts And Workspaces
You must provide accurate account information and maintain the security of your password, MFA methods, recovery codes, devices, and workspace membership. You are responsible for all activity performed through your account and devices.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service to:
- Store, transmit, or distribute unlawful content.
- Deliver malware, ransomware, phishing materials, or exploit payloads.
- Interfere with the service, bypass limits, or abuse invite and download flows.
- Violate the rights, confidentiality, or intellectual property of others.
5. Billing
Paid workspaces are billed in advance through Stripe according to the selected plan and billing cycle. Seat counts, storage limits, asset limits, and feature access are enforced at the workspace level. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the active billing term unless otherwise stated in an enterprise agreement.
6. Security Model
QrystalDrop is designed to reduce plaintext exposure, not to promise that internet systems are unhackable. Security behavior depends on workspace configuration, trust mode, endpoint security, and administrator choices. You are responsible for choosing settings appropriate to your use case.
7. Data Retention And Deletion
Files, rooms, audit records, and workspace metadata are retained according to workspace policy, legal requirements, and platform integrity requirements. When content expires or is deleted, recovery may not be possible.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service available, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed unless covered by a separate enterprise agreement or SLA.
9. Liability Limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Prohibited Regulated Use
Do not use the service for regulated data categories unless you have a separate written agreement from us covering that use case.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
